Elon Musk had a conflict with Disney CEO, the Disney+ application was immediately removed from Tesla cars

Is this Elon Musk’s “revenge” after Disney’s recent moves?

Recently, some users noticed that the Disney+ app had disappeared from the Tesla Theater entertainment system in Tesla vehicles. The event comes amid tensions between Elon Musk and Disney CEO Bob Iger.

Previously, Musk shared anti-Semitic content on social network X, leading to a wave of strong protests from the community and many major partners, including Disney. Disney then decided to suspend advertising activities on X. Although Elon Musk later apologized, the relationship with Disney was still affected.

In a recent interview, Elon Musk publicly criticized Disney, accusing the company of being affected by the “woke mind virus” and even making a vulgar statement aimed at Iger.

Most recently, according to sources from Electrek, Tesla announced the removal of the Disney+ entertainment application from Tesla Theater but did not specify clearly state the specific reason.

Initially, it was reported that the application would be completely removed from all Tesla vehicles. However, Tesla later adjusted and only removed Disney+ from cars that had never used this application before. Currently, some Tesla owners say they no longer see the Disney+ app in their system, while others, possibly those who already use the app, still see Disney+ available.

The removal of Disney+ may be a symbolic move of Musk’s response to Disney. However, it is also possible that Tesla is reconsidering its cooperation strategy with online entertainment services and will make an official announcement in the near future.
