Losing his wife is not the only thing that could be detrimental to Tom Brady.

This week, social media erupted over reports that Brady and Gisele both enlisted a divorce attorney in the wake of so many marital issues between them.

The Tampa bay Bucs star missed 11 days during the offseason to work through “personal issues” and Bündchen skipped his first game of the season on September 11, instead tweeting “Let’s go @TomBrady! Let’s go Bucs!”

If they decided to go through with the divorce, recent reports from Newsweek state the superstar quarterback could lose up to $200 million to Bündchen in the divorce.

“Brady could be hit heavily in the pocket should the two split, a leading divorce lawyer told Newsweek, especially if he didn’t have a pre-nuptial agreement with Bündchen.” the report says. “… The 14-time Pro Bowl star is reportedly worth over $400 million from his 22 seasons in the NFL but he could lose half of this fortune unless he had it protected before marrying Bündchen.”

The 42-year-old model was recently spotted at a Miami gym for the second time this week. Both times Bündchen was seen without her wedding ring. That seems to be a pretty big indication is ready to move on.

While Tom announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this year, his plans did not last long. 40 days later, he announced he was coming back for his 23rd season. It’s been hell in his personal life ever since.

Despite what rumors may have suggested, Gisele has since come forward to address the narrative that she is “desperate” for him to retire.

“This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she shared in a Sept. 13 interview with Elle. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them].”

Brady and Bündchen share two children—son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9.
