Tom Brady reportedly turned to ex-wife Gisele Bundchen over his decision to permanently retire from National Football League (NFL). The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, 45, split from Brazilian supermodel, 42, four months ago. A source told US Weekly that the former couple “talked through” quitting the sport before he announced on February 1 that he was retiring.

His decision is said to have caused a huge rift in their marriage. Earlier this month, Brady, who also has son John Edward, 15, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, 51, announced he is retiring from the NFL “for good.”
