THE Pat McAfee Show will be airing live from North Carolina while his soccer team battles J.J. Watt’s Burnley FC for a $1 million prize in The Soccer Tournament (TST).

Last week, the ESPN host revealed he would be fielding his own side, The CONCAFA Soccer Club, in the competition, taking place from June 5-10.

And McAfee, 36, appears to be all in on his surprising new career venture.

The retired NFL punter will personally oversee his team’s progress – alongside his feel-good crew.

The Pat McAfee Show is scheduled to air live from WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina, over the first three days of the seven-a-side tournament.

And morning-session pass holders will be able to visit the set and attend the taping, according to the TST’s ticket distributor.

The competition was established by ex-TV producer and writer Jon Mugar last year.

Mugar launched it having witnessed the success of his open-to-all model with The Basketball Tournament (TBT), which tipped off in 2014.

The Connecticut-based Newtown Pride FC won the first edition of the tournament, beating Canada’s SLC FC 2-0 in the final.

The 2024 TST will feature both men’s and women’s events, both of which promise the same $1 million prize.

The men’s tournament will consist of 48 teams while the women’s one will involve eight participants.

A few prominent soccer names have secured a spot in the competition.

Former FC Barcelona star Sergio Aguero will field his team, as will Manchester United icon Nani.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal will join Watt’s Burnley among established European soccer clubs to participate in the TST.

McAfee trash-talked the NFL legend after announcing that his CONCAFA SC, coached by former US national team goalie Tony Meola, would be part of the competition.

“I just want to let you Burnley boys [know] … my team [is] stacked,” the ESPN host told Watt last week.

“I will be releasing the roster next week.

“We got names.”

McAfee added: “Good luck to your Burnley team getting dunked on by the CONCAFA Soccer Club.”

But Watt seemingly welcomed the challenge.

“Our friendship has officially ended until after June 8th I believe,” he told McAfee.

“I hate you.”
