One of the many movies celebrating an iconic anniversary this year is the classic Hook, which hit theaters 25 years ago this December. However, tomorrow marks another, much more unfortunate milestone, the two-year anniversary of star Robin Williams passing away. To honor both the movie and their leading man, the young actors who played The Lost Boys in the movie have finally reunited as adults, to pay tribute to their beloved co-star.

22 Vision, the production company that orchestrated cast reunions for The Little Rascals and School of Rock, put this reunion together, spending roughly two years tracking them all down. Entertainment Tonight went behind-the-scenes of this epic photo shoot, and spoke with 22 Vision CEO Brian Pocrass, who revealed why he wanted to put this reunion together. Here’s what he had to say below.

” Hook is just one of those movies that people really grew up on. To get them together to remember Robin and celebrate this milestone is something that I loved being a part of.”

This reunion brought back stars Dante Basco (Rufio), Raushan Hammond (Thud Butt), James Madio (Don’t Ask), Ryan Francis (Young Peter Pan), Thomas Tulak (Too Small), Isaiah Robinson (Pockets), Ahmad Stoner (No Nap), Bo Georghe (Noseminer) and Brett & Bryan Willis (Sooner & Later) for an epic photoshoot. James Madio reveals that the cast members hadn’t seen each other in several years, but it didn’t take long for the Lost Boys to catch up. Here’s what he had to say below.

“We haven’t seen each other in quite some time but I almost feel like there was no lost time. We just picked it up right away where we were and just reminiscing about everything. It’s just really cool.”

The Lost Boys were all between the ages of 6 and 17 years old during the Steven Spielberg production, with the youngest, Thomas Tulak, revealing he didn’t understand the “gravity of what was going on.” The photoshoot featured all of the actors, recreating their Lost Boys costumes, which Basco said brought up some memories from the set, while lamenting how he might look in this costume now.

“You have to understand, when you’re 15 and you’re doing this Steven Spielberg movie with megastars– Robin Williams , Dustin Hoffman , Julia Roberts — you know you want to be cool. I don’t know how cool I’m going to look with my belly button out! I mean, through the months it grew on me and now, I mean, years later it’s become this iconic, iconic look that people cosplay around the world.”

The reunion also gave the cast a chance to reflect on the death of Robin Williams, which shocked the world in August of 2014. Basco revealed that the actor’s passing marked the “death of our childhood,” while also offering the chance to celebrate his life’s work. Here’s what he had to say below.

“I think for all of us [Robin’s death] was the death of our childhood. There’s sadness there, also there’s a lot of space to kinda celebrate one of the most legendary artists of our time. [Robin] really taught me at a young age what it means to be a star, what it means to be a leader on a set. Everything you want Robin Williams to be he delivered in spades.”
