Adam Sandler has shared details on kissing his Murder Mystery co-star Jennifer Aniston – but he has one bone to pick with her.

The Hollywood stars will appear together in the film’s sequel, Murder Mystery 2, released today on Netflix.

The mystery-action film will see the pair go professional as detectives alongside new castmates including Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, and Jodie Turner-Smith.

Despite sharing a decades-long friendship, Sandler, 56, has revealed the pair are still awkward around each other when it comes to locking lips on screen – which they’ve done in all three of their films together including 2011’s Just Go With It.

Speaking to USA Today, Sandler shared the one complaint he has with the Friends star, 54, when it comes to sharing a steamy scene.

The Waterboy actor explained that he felt Aniston was a bit too enthusiastic when it came to their kissing scene in the latest Murder Mystery film.

‘”For God’s sake, keep your mouth closed”,’ he recalled saying to her. ‘It was so wide! Every time, she’d come with a big, wide mouth, and I’d be like, “Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho, whoa! What are we doing?”‘

From romance to action, Sandler also spoke about the dangers that come with making a film and the unlikely injuries he sustained while making Murder Mystery 2.

‘Jennifer kicked me in the ribs one take,’ he said, as well as sharing that his co-star accidentally punched him in the face during a fight scene.

The pair recently recalled where they first met and the fine details of how their friendship began.

In a Mr and Mrs style interview with Netflix, Sandler recalled that the pair had breakfast together during their first meeting.

‘We were young at Jerry’s Deli, and we had breakfast together. You had eggs with ham and cheese, and what did I have?’ the Happy Gilmore actor said.

‘French toast,’ replied the Friends icon within seconds.

‘And I washed it down with?’ he pressed.

‘Oh, oh, chocolate milk!’ replied an enthusiastic Jennifer, before she teased: ‘Like a grown man should.’
