Adam Sandler during a chat show appearance Thursday revealed that Adam Levine played at his daughter’s bat mitzvah over the weekend.

The 52-year-old comedian made the revelation while appearing with Jennifer Aniston, 50, on Jimmy Kimmel Live during a NBA Finals special episode.

Sandler told Jimmy, 51, that the bat mitzvah for his 13-year-old daughter Sadie was ‘a big deal’ and all their friends were coming.

‘And I was like, I …I didn’t even know why I did this, but I said, ”I’d love to do something special for my daughter, I love her so much and blah, blah, blah. So I text, …you know what I mean, everybody loves their daughter, but whatever,’ he said as the audience giggled.

Sandler said he was driving in town and for some reason texted Levine, 40.

‘And I text him, ”I’m sorry to do this to you, my kid’s getting bat mitzvahed Saturday night. Would you mind coming and singing a few tunes? It would be incredible.” But I don’t know why I did it. Then you see the dot dot dot immediately. I’m like, he got it and he’s about to say something,’ Sandler continued.

He said that Levine texted back that he couldn’t say no to him and asked for the location.

Turns out that Levine was familiar with it as he attended bar mitzvahs there growing up.

Levine and his Maroon 5 bandmate James Valentine played three songs.

‘It was the coolest thing, man,’ Sandler said.

The host shared a photo of Sadie beaming at her bat mitzvah while face-to-face with Levine.

Kimmel asked if he scored a lot of points with Sadie.

‘Oh, she hugged me so much, my Sadie,’ Sandler said.

He said the rest of the celebration was hard to follow, but called it a ‘perfect night’.

Sandler earlier told Kimmel that good family friend Aniston was invited, but couldn’t make it.

‘She had stuff going on, so she sent a gift. One of the best gifts Sadie received out of everybody,’ Sandler said.

‘We couldn’t believe it, and Sadie blew it!,’ Sandler said.

Sandler was on the ABC chat show that was filmed Thursday in Hollywood promoting his upcoming Netflix movie Murder Mystery with Aniston.

The mystery-comedy will premiere June 14 on Netflix.

Sandler has been married since 2003 to actress Jacqueline and they also have 10-year-old daughter Sunny together.
