His most recent film Uncut Gems has been applauded as a non-stop adrenaline rush.

But Adam Sandler was able to slow down his pace Tuesday when he stopped for a pedicure in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

The 53-year-old Murder Mystery star had some fun while he was relaxing and made funny faces as passerby outside.

Adam didn’t depart much from his standard casual uniform.

He had on a blue Beach House Tacos hoodie along with a blue and white pair of athletic shorts.

He had his phone handy to occupy himself while waiting, though he took the opportunity to put on a show for people outside who recognized him.

Adam’s currently riding high on the praise for his crime thriller Uncut Gems.

He stars as Howard Ratner, better known as Howie Bling, a New York-based jeweler who was once a leading name in his industry thanks to his connections to rappers looking for luxury.

But after years of meager earnings and compulsive sports betting, he finds himself in serious debt to mobsters who mean business.

Increasingly desperate, Howard bets everything on a precious uncut black opal that he hopes will solve all his problems.

Adam and Jackie Sandler rep Uncut Gems at 2020 Critics’ Choice

The film, directed by Josh and Benny Safdie, currently holds an impressive 92 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has garnered Adam some of the best reviews of his career.

Uncut Gems went on to become a hit for its distributor A24, and was nominated for multiple awards.

Adam took home the Best Actor prize from multiple critics organizations, including the National Board of Review.

Prior to the Oscar nominations announcement, the form SNL star threatened to intentionally make a bad movie if he didn’t get a nomination while on The Howard Stern Show.

‘If I don’t get it, I’m going to f***ing come back and do one again that is so bad on purpose just to make you all pay. That’s how I get them,’ he joked.

Adam was ultimately left out in the cold when the nominations were announced, to the disappoint of critics and awards watchers.

In possibly related news, the Sand Man inked a new four-film deal with Netflix late last month.

He’ll have a total of 11 films and one stand-up special with the streaming service.

He previously signed a multi-feature deal in 2014, which was renewed in 2017.

Though most of Adam’s Netflix films have been savaged by critics, the streamer has reported they’re among its most popular original titles.
