And it seems Adam Sandler was among the many dads lucky enough to receive the quirky gift this holiday season.

The father-of-two was seen rocking the socks emblazoned with his own face on Wednesday, as he took his daughters Sadie and Sunny to a playdate in Los Angeles.

Sandler, 53, wore his red $12.95 socks with white Air Jordans and a casual outfit of blue T-shirt and oversized white basketball shorts.

The Uncut Gems star has been sporting his Sunday best this awards season, walking red carpets across Los Angeles after being recognized for his work as the gambling addicted jeweler in the buzzy motion picture directed by brothers Benny and Josh Safdie.

But he won’t be attending next month’s Oscars, after missing out on a nomination.

Revealing the news on Twitter, he joked: ‘Bad news: Sandman gets no love from the Academy. Good news: Sandman can stop wearing suits. Congrats to all my friends who got nominated, especially Mama. His tweet referenced Kathy Bates, his onscreen mother in the 1998 American football comedy The Waterboy.

Bates replied: ‘I love you my Bobby Boucher!!! You was robbed!! But Mama loves you!!! I learned a new urban slang word for you! You da GOAT!! Not the one we eat at home, Son.’

While Brooklyn native Sandler didn’t get an Oscars nod, he received recognition at both the Critics’ Choice and Gotham Independent Film Awards.
