Photos from Bronny James’ prom showing him posing with a female went viral over the weekend, but it’s only managed to attract criticism.

Bronny, who is the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, recently committed to the University of South Carolina, doing so before his graduation from Sierra Canyon. He attended the prom with rumored girlfriend Peyton Gelfuso, with a photo of the pair making waves over the weekend.

The photo has prompted some backlash online, and it appears it’s because Peyton is white. Some fans have also suggested that the female is only about securing her bag.
