EX-WWE STAR BILLY JACK HAYNES’ HEARING FOR MURDER CHARGES POSTPONED

Former WWE star from the 80s, Billy Jack Haynes, had been taken into custody in connection with a tragic shooting incident involving his wife, Janette Becraft, in Portland’s Lents neighborhood. He was charged with murder and it appears his bail hearing has been postponed.

After a fatal shooting at 6000 SE 100th Avenue, a shelter-in-place order was issued as the police responded to the incident involving Billy Jack Haynes and his wife, Janette Becraft. Haynes, arrested after a standoff, was taken to the hospital for medical attention.

It was previously reported that Haynes was hospitalized in Portland, Oregon and would be charged in relation to the murder of his wife once he was discharged from the hospital.

That is exactly what happened as he faced murder charges immediately after he was discharged from the hospital. He was set for trial for the aforementioned murder charges on April 11th as well.

According to PWInsider, Haynes was set for a bail hearing on April 3rd regarding his arrest on charges of Second Degree Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon in connection to the death of his wife. However, the hearing was postponed to May 13th to give both parties additional time to prepare and investigate the case’s circumstances.

”Former WWF star William “Billy Jack” Haynes was scheduled for a bail hearing on 4/3 in relation to his arrest on charges of Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon in relation to the death of his wife, Janette Becraft, 85 in Portland, Oregon this past February. That hearing was pushed back to 5/13 in order to allow both sides additional time to prepare and investigate the circumstances of the case.”
