Inbound USC star Bronny James is going viral this week as a photo of him posing with his prom date has surfaced online.

Bronny, the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar and four-time NBA champion LeBron James, recently committed to playing for the University of South Carolina, taking all the time he needed, even to the frustration of NCAA scouts.

With his short-term future decided, Bronny attended prom with his classmates and it appears his date was Peyton Gelfuso. It’s believed that Peyton is a student at SMU after graduating from high school last year – she shared some of her own graduation photos on Instagram back then.

The four-star recruit is now officially done with high school and it will be interesting to see how he does in college. This is one path that hasn’t been beaten for him as LeBron went to the NBA straight from high school.

The Lakers star has revealed that his son will be the first person in his family to go to college and expressed pride at the fact after a win over the Memphis Grizzlies earlier in the playoffs.

LeBron, now the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, is keen on playing with his son, which suggests the younger James will declare for the draft after his first year.
