“Eat a freakin’ sandwich, girl. Damn,” one person wrote.

“Where are your curves? Any shape?,” another commented.

“No way that’s your body. You look like a 10-year-old,” someone else wrote.

“I never noticed that Ariana is this slim. A bit more weight would look good on her,” wrote another.

One person pointed out that Grande may be giving fans the wrong idea after the post received several comments from female followers envying her small frame.

“I hate that so many girls are commenting ‘I wish I was this skinny.’ You’re perpetuating society’s f—ked up beauty standards,” one concerned user wrote. “This shouldn’t be everyone’s go-to inspiration for weight when she’s clearly underweight. Who knows what kind of lengths she goes to in order to maintain this unrealistic figure that young girls are supposed to look up to.”

“Can someone please explain to me how Ariana Grande’s waist is smaller than her head? She looks sickly. Get this girl an XL pizza, stat,” another tweeted.

Sadly, this isn’t the first time the “Thank U, Next” singer has been body-shamed. Back in 2015, Grande clapped back at someone who compared her slim frame to “Modern Family” actress Ariel Winter.

“I got asked if I’d prefer Ariel Winter or Ariana Grande lol,” the person wrote. “It would definitely be Ariel Winter -curves are 𝑠e𝑥y sticks aren’t.”

Grande was so disappointed in the tweet that she took to social media to share a written condemning the comparison and objectification of women’s bodies.

“Sigh… Tweets, comments, statements like this are not okay. About anyone! We live in a day and age where people make it impossible for women, men, anyone to embrace themselves exactly how they are. Diversity is 𝑠e𝑥y! Loving yourself is 𝑠e𝑥y! ” Grande wrote. “Do you know what’s not 𝑠e𝑥y? Misogyny, objectifying, labeling, comparing, body-shaming, and talking about people’s bodies as if they’re on display asking for your approval/opinion. They are not! Celebrate yourself. Celebrate others. The things that make us different from one another is are what make us beautiful. Body boundaries. Love, love, love only.”

Powerhouse vocalist Ariana Grande is facing criticism that she’s “too thin” following her latest social media post.

On Wednesday the “Positions” singer shared a caption-free photo of herself to Instagram wearing a mask, and raising her arms jovially. While the 27-year-old has always had a petite stature, some of her more than 229 million followers have claimed the singer looks “underweight.”
