He plays a talent agent with an interesting mix of clients in Sandy Wexler, his new movie for Netflix that brings back the ’90s.

Adam Sandler, 49, had a talent for generating the laughs as he filmed scenes for the comedy with sultry 25-year-old co-star Samantha Hoopes in a happening hub in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday night.

While Adam displayed his comedic chops behind specs and baggy khaki pants to go with his polyester-looking shirt, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model flashed her midriff in very hip athletic attire.

Samantha was clad in a tiny crop top with her black push-up bra showing underneath, while loose-fitting red and white-striped track trousers resembed harem pants tucked into black army-style boots.

A glittery belt and heavy jewelry gave her the look of a ’90s pop star aided by a big and wild blonde hairdo that featured two ponytails.

That might have explained the look of total awe on Adam’s face as he stared at the blonde bombshell.

At one point, Adam was seen getting into character and waving his arms while Samantha leaned against a car with a guy’s arm around her shoulders.

Adam Sandler cuddles up to wife Jackie at Ridiciulous 6 premiere

If Sandler looked excitable, it’s because he’s playing a Hollywood mover and shaker, the one who works hard to get things done so the client comes out shining like a star.

While Samantha would make any man swoon, Adam’s character soon finds himself in a career conundrum when he falls for his latest discovery.

Jennifer Hudson is the talented new singer Sandy Wexler can’t resist.

The film also stars Sandler regulars Kevin James and Rob Schneider, along with Nick Swardson, Terry Crews and Colin Quinn along with New Girl star Lamorne Morris.

Steven Brill is directing – he also directed Adam’s previous movie for Netflix, The Do-Over.

Sandy Wexler is part of Adam’s four-movie deal with Netflix struck two years ago, which was deemed beneficial to the internet-viewing service and the actor.

‘When these fine people came to me with an offer to make four movies for them, I immediately said “yes” for one reason and one reason only… Netflix rhymes with “wet chicks.” Let the streaming begin!’ Adam said in a statement, as reported by Variety.

Sandler’s first delivery was The Ridiculous 6, which was the most-watched movie on Netflix in its first 30 days of streaming.

The star’s feature films have garnered more than $3.9 billion worldwide, although his latest efforts (The Cobbler, Blended) both underperformed at the box office in 2014.

Blended struggled to make back the $40 million it cost to produce, taking in a disappointing $46 million domestically (but a better $80.5 million overseas).

The Cobbler reportedly only took in $24,000 in its US opening weekend.
