It does not take very much for opposing fans to find something that Chris Paul did and start blasting him for it. On Tuesday, he made it very easy after what he did following Game 2.

In a highly contentious Game 2 in the West’s first-round playoff matchup between the Suns and Clippers on Tuesday night, Phoenis would put up a much-needed victory to even the series at one game a piece with a 123–109 win. The series now heads to Los Angeles.

Chris Paul and Kawhi Leonard in uniform

Chris Paul broke the “Scott Foster Curse,” but the praise for him stopped after what he did to Kawhi Leonard.

After the game, the interaction between them was quite icy, with Paul and Leonard brushing their shoulders as they walked to their respective locker rooms after the game.

Fans blasted CP3 over it:

I’m sorry, doesn’t this mean we supposed to scrap? Accident or not… https://t.co/9X7jSEe5ke

He will remain ringless, it’s just in the cards https://t.co/UAjFLfr5lY

Over the course of his career, Paul has played for several teams, including the Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, and Oklahoma City Thunder. He has been named an NBA All-Star 11 times, earned All-NBA honors nine times, and led the league in assists four times.

Overall, Chris Paul’s arrival in Phoenix has been a major factor in the Suns’ turnaround, and the team has a real shot of going all the way after they traded for Kevin Durant. Despite losing their first game with him in the lineup in Game 1, the team can easily take control of this series and win it with the Clippers missing Paul George.

His overall career has cemented his status as one of the greatest point guards of all time. If he can help lead the Suns to a championship, it would be the crowning achievement of an already illustrious career.
