Tom Brady may be retired but that hasn’t stopped him from making some jaw-dropping plays in his spare time… Including knocking a drone out of the air from his $300m yacht.

The 45-year-old former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced in February this year that he’d be retiring “for good” from the NFL, after saying the same thing just 12 months before.

Brady initially retired in February 2022, but it turned into a short-lived time off the field after he reversed the decision and made a comeback in March of the same year.

After retirement, the NFL quarterback tweeted: “These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business.”

At that time, Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen separated and eventually divorced, with gossip speculating that this could have been due to Brady’s dedication to the sport. Though, in March this year, Bündchen was interviewed by Vanity Fair, where the 42-year-old opened up about her divorce to Brady. She stated that the entire ordeal is not as “black and white” as people are making it out to be.

The star athlete spoke of the split during a segment for his weekly podcast, Let’s Go, with Brady telling his co-host, Jim Gray, that his separation from Bündchen was an “amicable” one, stating that he is “really focused on two things: taking care of my family and certainly my children, and secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games.”

Marital woes aside, Brady has clearly been enjoying himself lately, as he recently took part in a video collaboration with popular YouTuber MrBeast, where the 25-year-old challenged Brady to throw a football at a drone from his yacht. “If I hit the drone on the first try, maybe I should come out of retirement,” Tom Brady said in part of the video.

As expected, Brady threw his arm back and hurled the ball to the perfect spot, hitting the drone on the right wing. He was also filmed passing the ball to a friend on a jet ski, but the pass ended up being dropped by the would-be receiver.

Brady’s children were also present for the video collaboration with MrBeast, who had met up with the NFL veteran while recording a video about a $1 billion superyacht.
