Wrestling Veteran Blasts Tammy Sytch (Sunny): “Maybe Karma Is Biting Her In The A**”

BARRY HOROWITZ INTERVIEW: Sunny’s (Tammy Sytch) WWE Backstage Issues, Chris Candido, Hulk Hogan

Tammy Sytch and Chris Candido were a power couple in the world of professional wrestling, performing as Sunny and Skip during their time in the WWE.

Sytch went on to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2011, while Candido sadly passed away in 2005 after contracting pneumonia as a complication of surgery.

Despite staying together until Candido’s passing, the couple’s relationship was far from perfect, and much of their journey was recently chronicled in the season 4 premiere of Dark Side of the Ring. Sunny has confirmed in the past that she had a relationship with Shawn Michaels in the late 1990’s, and her history of substance abuse is well-documented.

Speaking in a recent interview with WrestlingNews.co, wrestling veteran Barry Horowitz was asked about working with Sytch and Candido during his time in the WWE.

After explaining that Candido played a big part in helping him get signed to the sports entertainment giant, Horowitz commented on the personal issues between Sytch and Candido, saying he didn’t pay attention to that sort of drama as he was in the company do do his job.

“Did I hear some certain things (about Sunny and Chris Candido having issues)? Probably. Did I repeat them? No. It’s really none of my business. I really don’t care. It’s a drama thing. I’ve heard about it more later when I was out of the business or whatnot. Maybe I didn’t see it because I’m not looking for it. I don’t have time. I’m there to wrestle. I’m not there for the drama. If I wanted that, I could contact Fox for a reality show and maybe I could be on the Beverly Hills Housewives or something.”

“What Goes Around Comes Around” – Barry Horowitz On Tammy Sytch
Tammy Sytch has been arrested numerous times in recent years and is currently incarcerated after being charged with the death of a 75 year old man as the result of her crashing into his car. Police on the scene reportedly suspected her of being under the influence of alcohol at the time.

Continuing in his interview, Horowitz commented on Sunny, saying her success was the result of being in the right place at the right time. He also indicated that she deserves the difficulty she’s currently facing due to the choices she’s made in her life.

“She was just getting going, 23 years old. There’s girls right there now that are her age in the mall in Florida walking around that smoke her alive. The biggest thing was right time, right place. All you had to do was keep that mouth shut, drama free, you should be retired like Trish Stratus, Stacy Keibler, living off your royalties. Instead, you’re in a jail cell looking bad. Poor Chris had to deal with that, so maybe karma is biting her in the ass. What goes around comes around, especially in the wrestling business.”
