Celebrities donned designs by John Galliano, Diana Qerimi, and other renowned designers.

As the 2024 Met Gala approaches, co-chairs Zendaya and Jennifer Lopez are gearing up for fashion’s most anticipated event of the year.

On the 5th of May, the two stars were seen in New York City attending the Pre-Met Gala dinner hosted by Vogue Global Editorial Director Anna Wintour.

The gathering saw Zendaya and Lopez offer their respective takes on evening-wear.

Zendaya, fresh off the press tour for Challengers, stunned in a sleeveless white midi dress from John Galliano’s Fall 1998 collection.

The form-flattering lace number featured a sheer detail at the top and back, adorned with pink florals and butterfly embroidery.

Styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach, Zendaya completed her look with white Christian Louboutin pumps and a matching makeup look with hints of pink, possibly hinting at her outfit for the Met Gala, themed ‘Garden of Time’.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez, who recently made a remarkable comeback with a new album and film, opted for classic Hollywood glamour.

The “On The Floor” singer wore a black strapless velvet gown by Diana Qerimi, embellished with crystal droplets.

Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Lopez paired the dress with her signature platform pumps in black by Casadei, a matching Tyler Ellis clutch, and diamond earrings by Yeprem.

Zendaya and Lopez were joined by fellow co-chairs Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth at the star-studded evening.

The four are just a few of the many stars expected to grace the Met Gala, celebrating the theme of the 2024 Costume Institute exhibition, titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”.
