Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen flexed his dual-threat abilities with an electric 52-yard touchdown run vs. the Steelers on Monday night. It seems his sly move aided in that play happening.

Allen appeared to utilize a fake slide to freeze the Pittsburgh defense and then abruptly accelerate past a group of defenders en route to the end zone.

It was a clever move by the Bills quarterback but it upset a ton of fans.

A side-by-side video shows just how terrible that play truly is because once he faked sliding once, defenders were not going to let up again and it led to a Pittsburgh defender hitting him hard the next time when he actually slid.

He got penalized for it.

If quarterbacks are going to utilize the fake slide, defenders are going to start teeing off to make sure they slide to make them think twice.

Allen completed 21 of 30 pass attempts for 203 yards and three touchdowns while adding 74 yards and a fourth score on eight carries in Monday’s 31-17 wild-card victory over the Steelers.
