Donna Kelce Oddly Returned To Union Station Hours After Parade Shooting Took Place There, And It’s Unclear Why

A high school student said that Kansas City head coach Andy Reid comforted him after gun violence at the Super Bowl parade and rally at Union Station.
Another teenager was protected by running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire after he was separated from his father amid the chaos of the shooting.
Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, was also at the parade.
In the aftermath of a tragic shooting that marred the celebratory atmosphere of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade, Donna would reveal the team was rushed back to Arrowhead Stadium “really fast” after the tragic event where one Chiefs fan was killed and at least 22 people were left injured, including nine children.
“Everybody who was with the team, they got us out of there really fast,” she told the Kansas City Star.
Donna Kelce would then return to Union Station hours after the mass shooting, but it remains unclear why she did that and how long she was there.
Travis, meanwhile, said he was ‘heartbroken’ after his team’s Super Bowl parade descended into violence. Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas confirmed that all Chiefs players and staff were safe and accounted for following the shooting.
Three people were taken into custody in connection to the shooting Wednesday, according to Kansas City Police chief Stacey Graves.
Chiefs fan and mother of two Lisa Lopez-Galvan suffered a shot in the abdomen and would pass away in surgery. At least 22 people were shot with many of them being children.
The Chiefs released a statement of their own, which read: ‘We are truly saddened by the senseless act of violence that occurred outside of Union Station at the conclusion of today’s parade and rally.
