A heckling fan received a death stare from Lakers star LeBron James this week after asking a wild question about Kobe Bryant.

LBJ, who is out with an ankle injury, was sitting on the bench in plain clothes having a chat with Anthony Davis on Tuesday night when a fan asked him why he sacrificed Kobe Bryant. He shot the fan a look that probably made him regret it.

Bryant lost his life in a tragic helicopter crash in early 2020, just days removed from LeBron passing him for third place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. The four-time champion has since moved into first place.

We aren’t sure the audio from the clip above was real-time as it sounds like it could have been a voiceover.

Meanwhile, James has missed five games as a result of his ankle injury, with the Lakers 2-3 without him on the floor. He’s currently listed as day-to-day.

The Lakers have experienced a dip in form after winning the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament last year and are now ninth in the Western Conference with a 22-23 record. They will hope to have their best player back sooner rather than later.
