The Clippers will no longer have to be trolled about being guests in an arena that houses the Los Angeles Lakers.

Once home to the Los Angeles Lakers, Inglewood, California will officially become Clippers country in one year when the team’s stunning new arena debuts.

Spanning 1.1 million gross square feet, the Intuit Dome is the latest in a long series of sports arenas to rise along the West Coast. The $1.2-billion project, which will be home to the Los Angeles Clippers starting in the 2024-2025 NBA season, has now been under construction for two years.

On Tuesday, pictures of the finished arena were shown to give fans an idea of how it will look once it is completely done. It also has some pretty great features that include double the amount of toilets of any other NBA team in the league.

The 18,000-seat arena also has an 85,000-square-foot practice and athletic training facility, 71,000 square feet of office space for the Clippers organization, a 25,000-square-foot sports medicine clinic, a public plaza featuring a large LED screen, a concert stage, and basketball courts, and parking for 4,125 vehicles.

Construction on the Intuit Dome started in September 2021 in Inglewood, California. The arena is expected to be finished in 2024 and will allow the Clippers to have their own space.

As for the team, the franchise is hoping to win an NBA title for the first time in its history which was the plan when the team went out and got Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. So far, the tandem has been known more for sitting out games and failing in the playoffs. Maybe this upcoming season will be the year and the franchise can open up the stadium in grand fashion.
