Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had a heartwarming post-game conversation following Sunday contest at Arrowhead.

The Chiefs narrowly defeated the Burrow-less Bengals by a final score of 25-17 in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship Game. With the loss, the Bengals (8-8) were officially eliminated from postseason contention.

After the game, Kelce met with Burrow and told him that the QB’s season-ending torn ligament injury “ripped our soul out man.” Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones also told Burrow “the game misses you” before offering praise to backup QB Jake Browning:

The Chiefs and Bengals have formed quite the rivalry over the last two seasons. They met in each of the last two AFC Championship Games, with both sides claiming one victory. There’s also no love lost between cornerback L’Jarius Sneed and Ja’Marr Chase, to say the very least.

Thanks to the NFL’s schedule rotation, the Chiefs and Bengals will definitely meet again at Arrowhead Stadium at some point in the regular season next year.
