Golden State Warriors’ star Draymond Green appeared to take a shot at his former teammate and new Washington Wizard, Jordan Poole.

In a video for Bleacher Report, Green did a roster building challenge. Five NBA team logos would show up, and Green would have to pick one player from each of those clubs to build a starting five roster.

When the generator displayed the Wizards’ logo, Green laughed and asked who is on the Wizards’ roster before choosing Kyle Kuzma. Check out the viral video of Green below:

Many interpreted this as a shot at Poole, given Green’s and the fact he’d surely know that Poole is on the Wizards. Earlier this month, Golden State sent Poole and draft picks to Washington in exchange for All-Star guard Chris Paul, whom the Wizards recently acquired from the Phoenix Suns in the Bradley Beal blockbuster.

The relationship between Poole and Green was a hot topic during the 2022-23 season. Back in October, a viral video showed Green punching Poole during a team practice. Following Poole’s trade to Washington, folks noted that he unfollowed his now-former teammate on Instagram.

Ahead of free agency, the defensive stalwart and the Warriors agreed to a lucrative four-year contract extension worth $100 million.

Poole is coming off his best season yet, having averaged 20.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Surrounded by less stars now in Washington, the pieces are there for him to have his best season yet in 2023-24.
