However, Selena Gomez seems to be the most recent celebrity to wear Spanx.
The adolescent was performing at the Jingle Ball in Sacramento on Thursday night, and below her very short red-sequined tutu outfit was what seemed to be a pair of the control underpants.
However, the singer seemed unfazed by the apparent wardrobe malfunction as she sang two of Katy Perry’s songs, including her most recent single, “The One That Got Away.”
Selena revealed to the audience that she used to look up to the fellow 27-year-old artist.
A source of inspiration for me is Katy Perry. She has been a very amazing and great person to me. She gave me two of her songs, so we wanted to sing this one for Katy in her honor,’ she stated before to the performance.
Meanwhile, the teen recently revealed that she got an early Christmas present, with the news her mother and stepfather are expecting a child.
‘Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news,’ she tweeted last week.
‘My mommy’s carrying my baby brother or sister :).’
Mandy, a former stage actress, is 35. She gave birth to Selena at 16 and named her after the famous Tejano singer.

It’s great that she has something to bring her joy, given that she’s stoically stood by her man Justin Bieber during his recent ugly paternity battle with fan Mariah Yeater, who claims that the 17-year-old singer is the father of her young son.

Yeater says that she and the superstar had a brief backstage romp in Los Angeles last year.
Although he has already taken one paternity test, her lawyers are requesting that he take another.

A spokesperson for Justin told MailOnline: ‘Justin has taken the test. There is currently no case pending against him and there’s been zero evidence supporting this claim.’
Bieber also confirmed that he had taken the test while appearing on The Late Show.
He told host David Letterman that he could ‘smell a weasel’ about the allegations.
‘It’s pretty crazy [that] people make up false accusations,’ said the Baby singer.
‘It’s going to happen. Being in the spotlight, people can say whatever.’
