Actor Henry Cavill has confirmed the release date for the trailer for ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’.

The new film follows a secret organisation during the Second World War, with the synopsis teasing that they gave birth to ‘modern black operations’. Despite the release date currently scheduled for April, footage for the feature is yet to be released.

However recently, Cavill revealed that the trailer will be released January 30 i.e. today. The actor took to Instagram and wrote, “Whilst my Argylle press tour nears completion, there is yet more excitement to come! Tomorrow will bring the trailer for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare!”

“Watch this space for more bearded and twirly wirly moustachioed antics. #UngentlemanlyWarfare #TheMinistryOfUngentlemanlyWarfare,” he added.

In addition to Cavill, the stellar cast for the movie includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, and Cary Elwes, with Ritchie co-writing the screenplay alongside Arash Amel, Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy.

The upcoming film comes amidst a packed schedule for Ritchie, with the filmmaker releasing Aladdin, The Gentlemen, Wrath of Man, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre and The Covenant all within the last five years.

The director recently announced a new project for Apple TV+, with John Krasinski and Natalie Portman set to star in Fountain of Youth. The pair will play “estranged siblings who partner up on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth”. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is scheduled to be released on April 19.
