Jennifer Lopez performance being investigated following PM complaints

Jennifer Lopez has been shaking her famous booty and now she is in trouble.

The 45-year-old performed in Rabat as part of the Mawazine World Rhythms International Music Festival – and the Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane IS NOT happy.

JLo’s racy performance included her bending over, provocative moves, dressed in revealing outfits and, as you would expect, lots of booty shaking.

But Prime Minister Benkirane has described Jenny’s show, at the Mawazine festival on May 29, as ‘indecent’, ‘provocative’ and ‘disgraceful’.
According to BBC reports he has since asked the High Authority of Audiovisual Communication to “take legal measures against those responsible in this serious delinquency”.

If the mum-of-two does face legal consequences from the lawsuit she could reportedly face up to two years in prison, putting her upcoming Las Vegas residency at risk.

Oh dear, oh dear.

Morocco’s PM also said the ‘sexually suggestive’ broadcast was in violation of the country’s audiovisual law and alleged that Lopez ‘disturbed public order and tarnished women’s honour and respect’.

Last week, Morocco’s minister of communication was criticised for allowing the gig to air on public TV, leading to calls for him to resign.

And local media also criticised Lopez for her ‘suggestive poses’ and for being ‘scantily’ dressed.

Meanwhile in her latest movie Shades Of Blue the star plays Detective Harlee Santos, an otherwise honourable police officer who gets entangled in a ‘tight-knit group of dirty cops.’

Let’s hope she gets to finish the film before its release in 2016.
