Khaby – real name Khabane Lame – hopped onto TikTok during the Covid pandemic that caused the world to seemingly shut down.

The star had lost his job in a factory because of the pandemic so started making videos to pass the time and entertain himself.

His content is unique and makes him an engaging and very popular figure online as he has a very familiar signature style and look.

Fans love to see him as he reacts to other TikTokers content and mocks the video he’s watches by shrugging, miming and anything else that sums up what he’s watching.

And he currently has six of the top 25 most-liked videos on TikTok.

Despite his skyrocketing fame Khaby doesn’t speak in any of his videos and remains silent the whole time.

Even though the intelligent man can actually speak English and Italian fluently.

He was born in Senegal but his family moved to Italy when he was a year old.

His bio reads: “If u wanna laugh u r in the right place.”

Khaby has also been engaged to long-term partner Zaira Nucci after the pair broke the big news in October 2020.

The young superstar has also had his fair share of moments in the mainstream spotlight.

He was involved in the social media campaign for Juventus F.C.’s transfer announcement of Manuel Locatelli and has been involved in judging short TikTok films at Cannes film festival and Italia’s Got Talent.

But he is probably most well known to people outside of his social media accounts for being in multiple Hugo Boss adverts since 2022.

Khaby signed a multi-year partnership with massive brand and was featured in the #BeYourOwnBoss campaign.

According to his manager he also pocketed close to $10million last year.

Why is ‘Khaby Lame dead’ trending?

Despite Khaby Lame being alive and well several reports on social media and YouTube videos have claimed the star is dead.

Many videos have incorrectly said the star was involved in a fatal car accident with several of them getting a high amount of views and concerning fans.

Khaby posted a video on his Instagram account last night of Christmas decorations, seemingly killing the rumours as well as another hilarious TikTok where he impersonates models on a catwalk.
