An unstoppable force continued to meet an immovable object Thursday, as Cardi B and Candace Owens’ Twitter feud dragged on.

In their latest back-and-forth, Owens appeared to claim Cardi’s deletion of a salacious tweet from earlier in the week as a kind of moral, if not legal, victory.

“Gee. I wonder what made @iamcardib delete the photoshopped tweets regarding my husband and brother,” Owens tweeted Thursday afternoon. “Too late, degenerate. You mess with my family, I won’t stop until I’m the CEO and chairman of that WAP.”

“Actually I deleted all the tweets between us from the beginning because my platform is for fun and entertainment,” Cardi responded. “The tweets between me & you was not entertaining anyone. It was getting boring. Get a life Candy it’s been two days.”

Owens then shot back that Cardi didn’t trash all the tweets about her, but just the ones in which she “lied” about Owens’ family.

“I am a forgiving person but Cardi KNEW the tweet was doctored, KNEW it was about private family members and spent a full day lying to her millions of fans saying she KNEW it was real,” she added shortly afterward.

Though the rancor between Cardi, 28, and Owens, 31, goes back a ways, Owens was specifically referencing a blunder Cardi made Tuesday responding to Owens’ recent appearance on Fox News.

The “Up” rapper answered Owens’ attack on her and Megan Thee Stallion’s performance of “WAP” at the Grammys Sunday in part by posting a Photoshopped fake tweet, purportedly from Owens, that read, “Yes, my husband did cheat on me with my brother. Yes, he said no when I asked to join them.”

Owens quickly claimed that she was bringing their feud to the courtroom for Cardi’s “slandering” of her brother, “a private citizen,” saying, “Just spoke with my family. I am 100% suing Cardi for that nonsense.”

Cardi stayed remarkably brand-focused Thursday, ending this latest back-and-forth by telling fans, “Guys I will be a little busy till later on the day. If any troll is bothering or tweeting about me just reply back with a video clip of ‘UP.’ Have a nice day!!”
