Cardi B takes lounge wear to new heights as she rocks fluffy hotel bathrobe on shopping trip

Cardi B is known for setting a fashion trend or two, but we could definitely get behind this comfy shopping outfit.

Taking to the streets of Miami for a spot of retail therapy, the Clout hitmaker sported a white terry-cloth bathrobe to browse around Bal Harbour and Aventura Mall in Miami.

Unlike the 26-year-old rapper’s usual designer fit, Cardi’s outfit of choice came courtesy of the hotel Sunset Marquis – because let’s face it, we all love a good souvenir.

Having clearly had a great night out performing at Miami’s hotspot LIV the night before, the Latina artist didn’t waste a face beat and sported the same make-up and multi-coloured Tokyo Stylez wig from the previous evening to lounge around Miami’s shopping precinct.

Adding a little flair to her on-the-go look, Cardi teamed the dressing gown with $1,170 (3900) Louis Vuitton furry loafers whilst visiting the Gucci store, where fans were quick to spot the star and gather outside.

It’s not the first time that Cardi has turned heads with her outfit choices this week after the star stunned fashion lovers at the Met Gala in a huge red gown by Thom Browne, inspired by the female anatomy.

Speaking to the YouTuber Liza Koshy, Cardi explained that the idea behind the outfit was to ‘make it look elegant, extravagant, but not too Halloween-ish’ whilst also adding that it was the ‘perfect dress’ for the Camp-themed event.

And just in case we missed, the mum-of-one also gave us a guided tour of the dress’s design, pointing out ‘the little boobies, vajayjay, and if you see my back, it’s like, booty’.

The Please Me rapper’s fashion statement outfit also came with it’s own jaw-dropping price tag nipples – yes you read that correctly – with each ruby red gem coming in at $250,000 (£191,298) each.

‘If I lose one of them, you know what I’m saying, I’mma have to sell my Birkin bags,’ she joked before launching into her trademark laugh.

And while the ballgown may not be as comfortable as a white dressing gown, it’s sure right up Cardi B’s alley as the star gave her definition of what she thought camp was.

‘Camp is being yourself, being extravagant,’ she told Liza. ‘You don’t care if nobody judge you or not, it’s you.’
