JAY-Z is sharing rare insight into his life as a dad.

In a recent episode of Kevin Hart’s Hart to Heart series on Peacock, the 52-year-old rapper and producer delved into the importance of prioritizing quality time with his children. He shares his daughter Blue Ivy, aged 10, and twins Rumi and Sir, aged 5, with his wife Beyoncé.

During his conversation with the 43-year-old comedian, the Grammy winner expressed his unequivocal appreciation for taking breaks from his demanding schedule to be present with his kids.

He stressed the significance of time, stating, “Time is all you have. That’s the only thing we control.” Reflecting on his past habits, he acknowledged that he used to be careless with his time, being scattered and unfocused. However, he now realizes the profound impact of every moment spent with his children.

Jay-Z highlighted the transformation in his perspective, noting that every second not spent with his kids is time not dedicated to their growth and development. He emphasized the immense love he holds for his children and underscored the importance of investing time in nurturing their well-being. This shift, he concluded, has been transformative, affecting nearly every aspect of his life.

Last month, JAY-Z and his daughter Blue Ivy were spotted sitting courtside at Game 5 of the NBA Finals, where the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Boston Celtics.

The father-daughter duo coordinated in all-black attire. JAY-Z opted for a black tee and joggers paired with white sneakers, while Blue Ivy wore a black leather jacket, black sweats, and black and white sneakers, complemented by hoop earrings.

In a heartwarming moment captured on the jumbotron and shared on Twitter, the “Empire State of Mind” rapper gave Blue Ivy a sweet kiss on the cheek.

Earlier in February, JAY-Z and Blue Ivy attended Super Bowl LVI together at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where they witnessed the Los Angeles Rams take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Blue Ivy also joined her mother and other celebrities last November in reciting some of her father’s famous lyrics as he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. With adorable laughter, she recited a censored line from JAY-Z’s 1998 track “Ride or Die,” saying, “Congrats S. Carter, ghost writer/You paid the right price, so we just make your hits tighter.”
