Sean “Diddy” Combs remains under federal investigation in his alleged s3x trafficking case, more than a week after two of his homes were raided by law enforcement. Several of the entrepreneur’s accusers in civil cases against him are reportedly cooperating with the federal government, including ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The music mogul isn’t hiding, though. He’s been photographed around Miami and posting photos on social media. Here’s the latest.

Cassie supposedly speaking with federal investigators

This excerpt discusses the ongoing legal issues involving Diddy (Sean Combs), with specific reference to a lawsuit filed by singer Cassie Ventura against him. The lawsuit alleges serious accusations including rap3, s3x trafficking, and abuse. Cassie, who was in a relationship with Diddy for over a decade, has been cooperating with authorities for several weeks according to TMZ. The accusations made by Cassie are said to resemble those in other civil lawsuits against Diddy.

It’s noted that other women have also met with law enforcement, although it’s unclear if they are the same accusers involved in the lawsuits against Diddy. Diddy has denied all allegations through his attorney.

Yahoo Entertainment reached out to Cassie’s lawyer for comment, but there was no immediate response reported.

These legal proceedings are significant and ongoing, and they highlight the seriousness of the allegations against Diddy. It’s important to note that these are legal matters and should be treated with sensitivity and discretion until all facts are properly evaluated and determined by the appropriate authorities.

Diddy resuming normal life

Despite the ongoing legal challenges, Diddy appears to be maintaining composure, according to a source cited by People. The insider mentioned that while the situation is stressful for the multimillionaire rapper, he is focused on ensuring his children remain unaffected by the drama. Diddy is reportedly prioritizing his children’s happiness and wants them to be worry-free. The source also indicated that Diddy has confidence in his legal team to handle the situation.

Photographs of Diddy in Miami suggest that he remains unfazed by the circumstances surrounding him. Additionally, he resumed sharing posts on social media, specifically sharing pictures of his 1-year-old daughter, Love, on Easter. However, he disabled comments on his Instagram posts, possibly to avoid further speculation or discussion regarding his ongoing legal issues.

Diddy’s ex shares video of Homeland Security’s raids on L.A. mansion

Misa Hylton, the mother of Diddy’s sons Justin Combs and Christian “King” Combs, has criticized the actions of law enforcement, calling attention to what she perceives as excessive force used against her sons. In videos shared on social media, law enforcement can be seen conducting a search of their home.

Hylton expressed her frustration, alleging that if her sons were the children of a non-Black celebrity, they would not have been subjected to the same level of aggression from law enforcement. She condemned what she described as an attempt to humiliate and terrorize her innocent young Black sons, labeling the actions of law enforcement as despicable.

Attorney for Justin Combs calls raid ‘bonkers’

Defense lawyer Jeffrey Lichtman is representing Justin. On his podcast Beyond the Legal Limit, Lichtman also called out what he believed to be the federal government’s excessive use of force.

“It was crazy,” he said. “What bothers me the most about it is not so much the search — the overboard search that occurred on Puff Daddy’s two homes — but the fact that the press was certainly told about it either immediately or right before. They were all there ready to record. … That’s bad.”

Lichtman said he doesn’t “know enough about the case” against Diddy to “advocate” for the rapper but wanted to call out the “ridiculous” way the raids unfolded.

One legal expert previously told Yahoo the show of force was not excessive. “It is the normal course of conduct when a search warrant is exercised,” Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer Silva Megerditchian explained.

“Any time the feds conduct a raid, it is usually viewed as excessive by the people involved. Officers have been known to make a mess of homes, detain innocent people — including children — and handcuff them for either officer safety or control of the situation,” she added. “Agents will tear homes apart looking for evidence that the warrant specifies. Unfortunately, what Diddy and his family went through is no different than any other person facing a federal investigation.”

Hollywood racing to cash in on the scandal

50 Cent isn’t the only person who is purportedly working on a docuseries surrounding the allegations against Diddy. According to TMZ, there are at least five productions in the works about the troubling allegations.
