As  allegations of s3xual misconduct continue to be leveled against Sean “Diddy” Combs  – and now his son – the embattled artist and businessman posted a video and caption containing looking defiant on Instagram on Friday.

He posted a full-length video clip from his 1998 song “Victory” – showing him evading the Los Angeles police for nearly seven minutes – along with the caption “Bad Boy for life,” a slogan often alluding to his long-running record label and a clenched fist emoji.

Comments remained open, and Christian Combs, who is currently being sued for s3xual assault allegations from 2022, wrote “You know who to do it better!!” with three fire emojis. Many mid-tier artists – including Ginuwine and Lil Scrappy – also considered showing support. The clip was posted both on his Instagram story and as a standalone post; as of Saturday morning, it had garnered 200,000 likes.

Directed by Marcus Nispel, the video, based on “The Running Man,” features appearances by Dennis Hopper and Danny DeVito, as well as contributions from the late Notorious BIG.

This move is perhaps related to the ongoing lawsuits alleging s3xual misconduct that have been filed against Combs – all of which he has vehemently denied in statements from his attorneys. The allegations began when R&B singer Cassie, who had been dating Combs for several years, filed a lawsuit on November 16. The lawsuit claims that Combs had been abusive to her throughout their relationship. She described him as a “serial domestic αвusєr, frequently h!tting and k!cking Ventura.” The following day, the two parties settled the lawsuit on what they described as amicable terms.

Another lawsuit, filed in December, alleges that Combs gαng-rαpєd a 17-year-old girl in 2003. This complaint raises the issue of Combs being involved in a “s3x trafficking scheme” as the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, was allegedly flown to New York via private jet from her home in Michigan.

Following these allegations, Combs resigned as chairman of Revolt and his Hulu reality show was subsequently canceled.

Sean "Diddy" Combs

Sean “Diddy” Combs is officially returning to the music business after retiring in 2016.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is making a comeback in the music industry.

The founder of Bad Boys Records, who later became known for his Ciroc vodka entrepreneurship, announced on Tuesday that he has signed an exclusive one-album deal with Motown Records.

As part of the deal, Combs is launching a new record label imprint named Love Records, a fitting name since he changed his name to “Love” in 2017.

“Music has always been my first love,” Combs stated in a press release. “Love Records is the next chapter. [It’s] about getting back to the love and making the best music of my life,” he added.

Combs retired from music in 2016, telling Cigar Aficionado magazine that his “No Way Out 2” album would be his last.

“I want to stop at a great place,” he said. “And a final album is a great place to stop. I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it one last time. And then I want to do different things and have different experiences.”

Diddy

Combs announced his return to music as he prepares to host and executive produce the 2022 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

He expresses his readiness to immerse himself in music once again, and his new label, Love Records, “will be dedicated to R&B music and will release singles and collaborative projects from a collective of world-class artists, producers, and songwriters,” according to the release.

“For the label, I’m focused on creating timeless R&B music with the next generation of artists and producers. Motown is the perfect partner for my album, and I’m excited to add to its legacy,” Combs remarked.

Ethiopia Habtemariam, CEO and chair of Motown, commented, “This is a major moment for Motown, as Diddy is one of this century’s most important voices in music and culture… To be a part of his next evolution and album is nothing short of monumental.”

The announcement coincides with Diddy’s preparation to host and executive produce the Billboard Music Awards for the first time on Sunday.

“This will be unlike any awards show. I’m bringing the love and setting the frequency at an all-time high,” he expressed.
