One of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelorettes has officially settled down! After a string of high-profile romantic relationships, Jennifer Lawrence has found stability with art gallery director Cooke Maroney, tying the knot in October 2019.

A representative for the Silver Linings Playbook star confirmed to Us Weekly in February 2019 that Lawrence and Maroney were engaged after the two were spotted in New York City seemingly celebrating something significant – with the actress sporting a large diamond ring.

Lawrence and Maroney first linked up in June 2018 after the Joy actress was introduced to the art dealer by her close friend Laura Simpson. Following news of their romance, the two continued to embark on outings together in both New York City and Paris on multiple occasions.

A month before their engagement, a source told Us Weekly that the couple was “very serious” and had moved in together. “They certainly seem like they’ll be together for a long time,” the insider added at the time. “Cooke is clearly smitten with her.”

While she said yes to Maroney’s proposal, Lawrence had previously been linked to some of Hollywood’s most intriguing figures. The Kentucky native dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and also had a relationship with X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult.

Cooke Maroney

Happily ever after! Less than a year after getting engaged, Lawrence and Maroney sealed their romantic relationship with a beautiful wedding ceremony in October 2019. The couple tied the knot at the Belcourt of Newport in Rhode Island, in front of esteemed guests including Emma Stone, Adele, Kris Jenner, and Cameron Diaz.

Lawrence and the “Something Like This” singer parted ways in July 2015 after giving their relationship a second chance. “Jen has been working non-stop and they never saw each other,” a source told Us at the time.

Nicholas Hoult

Lawrence and The Favourite actor began dating in 2010 when they met on the set of X-Men: First Class. The couple previously split for a brief period in 2013 and then rekindled their relationship in March 2014. Ultimately, they announced the end of their romance in August 2014. Lawrence and Hoult, however, remain amicable exes. “We’re a big family. We’ve been doing these movies since we were 20 years old,” Hoult said in an interview in January 2019, revealing that there was no awkwardness between him and Lawrence while filming the latest X-Men installment, Dark Phoenix. “When the Skins gang grows up together, the X-Men gang really grows up together too.”

There’s no sense of difficulty here. After a relationship that lasted over a year, the couple announced their split in October 2017, although Lawrence continued to speak highly of Aronofsky on many occasions. “I still love him very much,” the Hunger Games actress revealed in a podcast interview in February 2018. However, Lawrence also disclosed that the director wasn’t the only ex she remained close to. “Actually, I’m friends with all of my exes. Mostly, that’s true,” she said at the time. “I have a theory. I think it’s because I’m straightforward. I don’t think you can have any bad relationships with anyone if you’re straightforward. Everyone always knows how you feel all the time and there’s no lying, it’s just honesty. Everyone is good to each other. All of my boyfriends are great. Nick [Hoult] is a great boyfriend.”
