Is it true that Singer Chris Brown was found to have evaded community service?-HO

Singer Chris Brown has been found guilty of evading community service.

Singer Chris Brown, who was once in a relationship with Rihanna, has been discovered by prosecutors to have lied and evaded community service. He may have to appear in court for confrontation and faces the risk of “popping the calendar” if he fails to provide evidence proving that he has completed the community service as previously ordered by the court.

Chris Brown was sentenced to 5 years of probation and 180 days of community labor after assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Additionally, he was required to participate in a one-year domestic violence education program, stay at least 50 meters away from his ex-girlfriend (or 10 meters if attending the same event), among other conditions.

On February 5th, prosecutors requested Chris Brown to appear in Los Angeles court on February 6th to clarify issues related to his completion of the 180-day community labor sentence. “After reviewing all the court documents and evidence submitted, prosecutors found discrepancies in the instructions, reports regarding Chris Brown’s sentence compliance, revealing gross fraudulence,” said Mary Murray, Los Angeles deputy district attorney.

According to Mary Murray, community labor activities included grass cutting, trash picking, and erasing graffiti. Chris Brown was assigned these tasks in his home state of Virginia. However, he was absent from his home state to perform the required community labor, instead opting for trips, one of which included a private jet ride to Cancun, Mexico.

Mary Murray also accused Virginia authorities of incompetence, failing to manage Chris Brown’s community labor. Therefore, the community labor penalties for Chris Brown should be transferred to Los Angeles. Additionally, the prosecutors requested the revocation of probation and imposition of a different sentence for Chris Brown.

In response to these accusations, Chris Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, denied all allegations. He called the accusations “baseless, defamatory, and slanderous.” “The prosecutors have lost their focus when investigating my client. I am gathering evidence to refute them,” Mark Geragos stated.

Despite still being under probation and restraining orders due to his violent behavior towards his girlfriend, Chris found himself in legal trouble again. Recently, he was involved in a brawl with Frank Ocean in a parking lot, almost facing prosecution. However, one silver lining for Chris is that Rihanna has forgiven him and publicly rekindled their relationship.
