Kourtney Kardashian seems to be getting her fairytale ending.

Travis Barker’s unusual birthday tribute for his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, certainly made headlines, but according to an insider who spoke to People, their relationship is still thriving. Despite the unconventional nature of the photo Barker shared, Kardashian is reportedly treated “like a queen” by the rocker. Family time takes precedence for Kardashian, with work coming in second, according to the source. With their second wedding anniversary approaching, it seems their bond remains strong.

‘She seems calmer, much happier and content with life. Travis is amazing. He treats Kourtney like a queen. They talk about growing old together — it’s very cute!’

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have built a sizable blended family since tying the knot. Barker’s children from his first marriage, Alabama (18) and Landon (20), as well as his step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya (25), whom he shares with ex Shanna Moakler, are part of the family. Kardashian, on the other hand, has sons Mason (15) and Reign (nine), and daughter Penelope (11) from her previous relationship with Scott Disick. The couple welcomed their son, Rocky, in November.

‘Although they’re a mixed family, everything works and is very intentional,’ the source claimed.

‘Kourtney and Travis are doing a great job keeping all the kids happy. They make special time for all of them.’

 The insider information comes after the rocker’s loving birthday post about his bride April 18.

‘Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, soulmate and best friend forever. I love you, I love our life together,’ he penned.

‘Thank you for being the most amazing wife a person could ask for. Here’s to many more years of adventures together ❤️‍’

As she ages, she prioritizes her well-being, stressing less and finding happiness in life’s simple pleasures.

Kardashian, 42, and the Blink-182 drummer had just finished watching Avril Lavigne perform a concert at the iconic venue. Lavigne, 37, dropped her seventh studio album, Love Sux — which was released under Barker’s new label, DTA Records — on Friday.

For the nighttime outing, Kardashian wore an all-black ensemble composed of a dress and thigh-high leather boots. Barker, meanwhile, was photographed heading into the event wearing a leather motorcycle jacket over a white T-shirt before he nixed the attire while leaving the venue later on, when he was pictured holding drumsticks in one hand.

Kelly and Barker even joined Lavigne onstage at one point for the SiriusXM and Pandora’s Small Stage Series performance.

Kardashian and Barker’s date night came about after a source told PEOPLE that the pair are planning their wedding and know exactly what they want for their upcoming nuptials.

The Poosh mogul and her beau — who got engaged last year — “want a very small wedding,” a source told PEOPLE exclusively.

“There are two weekends she’s looking at in May. They don’t want it to be a press frenzy,” the source continued. “She wants it very private with closest friends and family.”

The insider added that Kardashian is “currently getting sketches of dresses” as well.

The couple confirmed their relationship in January 2021, and they later made things Instagram official after Valentine’s Day that year. The rocker then proposed at the Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, Calif., in October 2021.

At the time, an insider told Barker “was nervous, but Kardashian didn’t hesitate for a second before she said yes.”

“The question was never if they would get engaged, it was more like when,” the source explained. “Travis just adores Kourtney. He treats her like a princess and is a great guy.”

The upcoming wedding will mark the first time Kardashian has made her way down the aisle. She shares three children — Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6 — with ex Scott Disick.

As for Barker, he was married to Melissa Kennedy from 2001 to 2002 and Shanna Moakler from 2004 to 2008. He shares stepdaughter Atiana, 22, son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16, with Moakler, 46.
