THE nature of their relationship has been debated for years but last night Drake finally put an end to the uncertainty – as he revealed he was in love with Rihanna.
The Canadian rapper made the shock announcement as he presented the songstress with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards last night.

Almost bringing the crowd to tears, Drake spoke openly about his feelings for Rihanna – admitting that he fell for her almost as soon as he met her 11 years ago.
He gushed: “She is someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22-years-old.
“She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life I’ve looked up to her.”

Rihanna – who performed a whopping four times at the ceremony – was clearly very moved by his kind words and moved in to embrace him.

The surprisingly intimate moment between the pair sparked speculation that Drake might be on the verge of proposing to the Bajan beauty.
