Kardashians score major court victory in Blac Chyna’s $100M defamation lawsuit against famous family

THE Kardashians have triumphed against Blac Chyna in her $100million defamation lawsuit against them, The Sun can confirm.

The jury reached a verdict in favor of the famous family on Monday after a grueling two-week trial in Los Angeles, dismissing Chyna’s claims that the stars had ruined her reality TV career.

The court disclosed that the jury had ruled not to award damages to the 33-year-old model. Blac Chyna, who shares a daughter, Dream, five, with her ex, Rob Kardashian, had filed a lawsuit against Kim, Khloe, Kylie, and Kris Jenner, alleging defamation and interference with her E! contract.

Chyna remained in stunned silence as the unexpected verdict was announced, while the Kardashians were absent, attending the Met Ball in New York on Monday.

Despite the absence of damages, the jury determined that Kris, Khloe, Kim, and Kylie did not “act reasonably and in good faith to protect their own economic interests.” However, with the exception of Kylie’s conduct, they concluded that the actions of the other defendants “did not prevent performance or make performance more expensive or difficult,” as per the jury form.

In response to their victory, the Kardashian’s legal team, led by Michael Rhodes and Michelle Doolin, expressed gratitude to the jury and praised Judge Alarcon for ensuring a fair trial. Their trial counsel emphasized that justice had prevailed.

Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, announced plans to appeal the decision outside the courthouse.

The jury’s deliberations lasted two days, during which they filled out a 70-question form. According to California law in civil cases, at least 9 out of 12 jurors needed to vote in favor of a verdict.

The verdict was delivered at 6 pm EST on Monday. Following the announcement, Blac Chyna left the courthouse discreetly, while jurors were still providing their individual answers.

Previously, Judge Gregory Alarcon ruled that Kim was not liable for defamation after a dispute with Chyna’s attorney.

Chyna alleged that the Kardashian family worked to get her E! show, Rob & Chyna, canceled after its first season in 2017. Submitted evidence included revealing emails and texts from the family, demonstrating their efforts to halt production with the network.

The Kardashians’ attorney argued that the cancellation resulted from Rob and Chyna’s breakup, while producers labeled the situation as “sad” and “grim.”

The defendants denied all allegations and highlighted Chyna’s income from other ventures, particularly her OnlyFans account.

ROB SPEAKS OUT

Chyna had been seeking approximately $40 million for lost earnings and an additional $60 million in future earnings.

The bitter trial, which commenced two weeks ago, brought to light the turbulent relationship between the former couple, revealing incidents of alleged abuse, including claims that Chyna strangled her ex and held a gun to his head.

Rob Kardashian, aged 35, testified to describe the purported abuse he endured during the relationship. He asserted that Chyna had allegedly brandished a gun on two occasions, placing it against his head—a claim Chyna denies, contending that it was merely playful behavior with an unloaded weapon.

During his testimony, the reclusive Rob appeared visibly flustered and wiped his brow with a towel. He recounted meeting Chyna at his “lowest point” and disregarding his family’s warnings. Rob emphasized that he never truly loved her when they became engaged, characterizing their entire relationship as “fake,” alleging that Chyna sought publicity.

Additionally, Rob accused Chyna of consuming alcohol and cocaine during a heated altercation in 2016, which resulted in her vacating the residence they shared in Kylie Jenner’s home. He claimed she vandalized the property and attempted to assault him with a metal pole before assistance arrived from Kris Jenner’s boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

ATTACK CLAIMS

Chyna’s ex claimed he was struck in the body, face and back with the pole while in the bedroom and closet, where he retreated in an attempt to remove himself from the situation.

The family’s attorney also alleged Chyna also choked him with a phone cord during the December 2016 argument.

Rob’s mom, Kris, also testified about the night Rob was allegedly attacked by Chyna.

Chyna’s attorney went through Kris’ 2019 deposition, in which she claimed Rob was struck in the face with a six-foot metal rod on December 15, 2016.

Kris said at the time he was struck in the face and had marks around his neck from being strangled with an iPhone cord, but in court said she couldn’t recall where on his body he was hit.

She alleged Rob was “hysterically crying” over the “very, very hectic situation,” but admitted police weren’t called, as the family wanted to keep the incident private to protect Dream, who was just weeks old at the time.

KRIS’ TESTIMONY

Kris broke down in tears while alleging that Chyna put a gun to Rob’s head, telling the court: “She said it was funny, Chyna said it was funny, a joke. It’s not funny.

“My daughter Kim, 60 days prior, had been held at gunpoint and robbed in Paris and was tied up and thrown into a bathtub.”

Kris, 66, was referring to when her daughter Kim, 41, was robbed at gunpoint at Hôtel de Pourtalès by five men, who reportedly stole about $10million worth of jewelry from her in 2016.

During his closing argument, the family’s lawyer asked the jury to remember the “pain and anguish” on Rob’s face during his emotional testimony.

“That was real. This is a real family. Yes they’re famous, but they’re real people,” he said.

He also mentioned: “Just because he’s a big guy he can’t be a victim?”

Elsewhere, Khloe and Kim’s angry past emails and texts were exposed as they threatened to quit if Chyna’s show wasn’t canceled.

In a former email, Khloe allegedly wrote: “We are even considering not moving forward with our show if theirs continues, that’s how strongly we feel this is damaging to our family.”

KIM’S ANGRY TEXTS

Her sister Kylie also allegedly sent an email to producers calling Rob and Chyna’s relationship “embarrassing,” and said it was making the family look “fake.”

She allegedly claimed Chyna’s “association [with the brand] is too detrimental to our family and Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

Kim also took to the stand and was faced with alleged texts she sent to a show-runner for KUWTK, saying she no longer wanted Chyna on their show.

She allegedly raged: “I’m going to officially take a break because I don’t want to do this anymore because this is so confusing.

“This is just not happening, I can’t believe no one listens to us, no one respects us. It’s just not happening. Chyna can never be on her show.”

But in court, she insisted that her text messages are often voice dictated, and she meant “our show,” KUWTK.

The famous sisters have been feuding with their former friend Chyna since Kylie began dating the model’s ex, Tyga, in 2014.

Chyna started dating their brother Rob, and eventually had his baby, Dream, in November 2016.
