Love To See It! Cardi B Links With New Rapper Scar Lip: “I Really Want Her To Make It”

Cardi B is all about girl power! The New York rapper recently linked with rising star Scar Lip where she praised the entertainer for her great work while chatting it up in the studio.

In a clip shared to Cardi’s IG story, The “Up” artist explained that they go to the same studio all the time so she felt like it was the perfect opportunity to actually meet in-person and hang out.

Cardi went on to say, “she’s a dope a** person and her story is so interesting and everything about her is so interesting.” Scar, who seemed a little shy popped her head in the camera as said hi to Cardi’s fans. Cardi then told her audience, “I think you guys should let her know what you guys would like to see from her because I really want her to make it and she’s such a dope a** person and y’all need to watch out.” She added, “and I think she should be on XXL Freshman Year.”

This is not the first time Cardi has shown love to Scar Lip. In May, Cardi B reposted her Met Gala look to her Instagram story and said, “I love her.” Scar was left emotional after she caught wind of Cardi’s post following her incredible night.

“Cardi B just posted me, Scar says nearly in tears. “She’s from the Bronx bro. I’m from the Bronx. She showed us young girls we can make it and we can be somebody bro. I can’t f*cking believe this shit. We did it!”

Supporting and celebrating other women in the music industry is not uncommon for Cardi. Over the past years and recent months, she has shown nothing but love to other female artists.

Back in 2021 while exclusively speaking to the star, she told us that she doesn’t even realize how much she does it as it all just comes from a genuine place.

“I just do it because that’s just how I am. I see female rappers like the strip club; I feel like everyone got their own little flavor, I always feel like I’m me, and I just feel like everyone is in their own lane.”

What Is Cardi B Up To?

Cardi B is currently working on her new album and she has confirmed that it will come out this year.

Last month while on Live she admitted “I’ve been having a lot of anxiety because I know right after I drop my album, I have to go out on tour, and I have bad separation anxiety from my kid.” She went on to say, “When it comes to music and everything, I just be feeling like I don’t be liking anything,” she said. “I feel like I got so many songs, and I don’t like anything. I feel like nothing is good enough… And I got so much money saved up I just be like, ‘Yeah, whatever the f**k.’”

Despite that, she confirmed a new album is on the way, “So about this album, this album is coming, okay?” she said.
