They initially ended their 11-year marriage in February of last year when Andrew left Amy, 41, and began living with his on-screen lover Leila Farzad, 42.

After a brief reconciliation, they parted ways for a second time in August.

During an interview with The Sunday Times about her finances, Amy, who has also appeared in Downton Abbey, disclosed that she had reunited with Andrew, who is 45 years old.

Regarding her annual income, Amy mentioned, “Generally speaking, in the last financial year — what can I tell you? — below a hundred grand, but I’m married so it all goes into one pot. So it’s not as scary because I can lean on that.”

She also confirmed that the couple still jointly owned their comfortable family home in Buckinghamshire. Amy added, “We owned a smaller house before.”

Reports from The Sun revealed that Amy was left “shocked and crying every day” after Andrew became involved with his co-star Leila on the set of BBC’s Better, leading to a passionate affair two years ago. Amy’s suspicions arose when she discovered lingerie that was not her size.

Despite Andrew’s return to the family home shortly after, the reunion was short-lived, and Amy asked him to leave again in August.

Friends mentioned that Andrew failed to adhere to the marriage “rules” set by Amy.

A source commented, “There is no suggestion he has cheated again but, as far as she is concerned, this is it. She is obviously gutted but also accepts that their time together has come to an end.”

In tribute to her late mother Elaine, who passed away following a brain tumor diagnosis in November, Amy released a song titled “Thank You Mother” last month. All proceeds from the song go to The Brain Tumour Charity.

Emmerdale’s Amy Nuttall’s marriage to Andrew Buchan and TV career

Andrew Buchan and Amy Nuttall married in 2012 and the couple have two kids together but it has been reported he is now with BBC Better co-star Leila Farzard

Former Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall is best known for portraying Chloe Atkinson on the long-running ITV soap. She left the ITV soap in 2005 after five years on set. The 40-year-old also starred in Downton Abbey as housemaid Ethel Parks.

Amy Nuttall, known for her roles in Downton Abbey and ITV’s Liar, has an extensive list of television credits, including appearances in New Tricks, Death in Paradise, and Hotel Babylon.

Off-screen, Amy is married to Andrew Buchan, recognized for his role in Broadchurch. The couple tied the knot in 2012 and have two children together. However, recent reports suggest that Andrew has developed a relationship with his co-star Leila Farzad from the BBC drama Better.

According to sources, Andrew informed Amy that their marriage was over before Christmas, leaving her devastated and their friends in shock. The unexpected turn of events has deeply saddened Amy, as those close to the couple believed they would be together forever.

“But he’s packed his bags and left with his new co-star. Whatever has gone on, it seems to have been enough for him to re-evaluate his whole life and rip up their marriage. Nobody is quite sure of the exact details, but Andrew has clearly had his head turned pretty dramatically.”

The reports come just weeks after Leila took to social media to share a gushing tribute to Andrew in a series of snaps featuring the entire Better cast and crew.

She captioned the post: “This lot. Couldn’t and wouldn’t happen without them. Big up the Better team who wiped my tears, held me up, fed me crumpets and made me smile.

“Don’t have pics of everyone but this gang got me through! We made a show, it’s NOT a Happy Valley replacement but a morality tale which should make you think.”

Amy reportedly became suspicious of her husband after seeing cosy social media snaps of him and co-star Leila Farzad. Sources claim that Nuttall grew concerned Buchan was cheating after he and Farzad appeared a little too close for comfort.

The star’s fears were confirmed when she allegedly discovered Andrew had been staying in a hotel close to their home – while claiming to be away working on location, it is also claimed she discovered he had purchased racy lingerie in a different size to hers.

A source told The Sun: ‘The penny started to drop over a period of time. He was away a lot, which wasn’t unusual because of the nature of his work, but at one point Amy realised he had been staying in hotels very near to home — and wondered why.

The gradual realization of Andrew’s closeness to Leila became apparent over time, with subtle cues in his behavior and their social media interactions raising suspicions. However, it was the discovery of the lingerie that solidified Amy’s gut feeling. She instinctively knew that it wasn’t intended for her, marking the final straw in their relationship.

Reports suggest that Amy, the former Emmerdale star, has been deeply affected by the end of her marriage, feeling utterly devastated. Coping with the heartbreak, she has found herself struggling to maintain her composure, often feeling overwhelmed with emotion as she goes about her daily tasks in Buckinghamshire.
