The famous entertainment star has filed an application with a federal court in Los Angeles (USA) to sue her father for fraud by claiming that she is related to the entertainment company he founded in 2017.

On January 15, Rihanna sued her father, Ronald Fenty, and two business partners for fraud and false advertising about the Fenty Entertainment Company he founded. Accordingly, Rihanna has long used the name Fenty to sell cosmetics, underwear and sports shoes. She asked the court to order an order prohibiting her father from using the name Fenty – which belongs to her. She also asked for compensation for an undetermined amount of money.

Female singer Rihanna filed a fraud lawsuit against her father claiming that she was related to the entertainment company founded by him in 2017.

Rihanna’s lawyer said that the singer has no connection to Fenty Entertainment. This company appropriated her name and claimed to be affiliated with her. The lawyer cited in the 2017 lawsuit that Fenty Entertainment voluntarily accepted a third party’s offer for Rihanna to conduct 15 shows in Latin America for $15 million. In another case, Fenty Entertainment falsely implied that Rihanna was involved in a hotel project when in fact she was not.

Despite being repeatedly informed that he did not have the authority to use the Rihanna name, the Fenty brand or represent Rihanna, Ronald Fenty and his partners continued to misrepresent their association with her. Fenty Entertainment has not commented on the incident.
