The student released video showing the pop superstar’s flights

TAYLOR Swift’s private jet tracker has revealed he’s heard nothing since the star’s legal team sent a cease and desist letter to stop him from “stalking” her online.

Computer student Jack Sweeney remains defiant and kept on posting the whereabouts of the singer’s two private jets, although she sold one earlier this year.

The 21-year-old has doubled down on releasing flight data, and this month released a YouTube video of all of Taylor’s flights from 2023, which would be enough to fly around the globe seven times.

He hasn’t counted how many there are but was told it’s over 170 flights.

The video concludes with the info that “Swift’s two private jets flew 178,000 miles in 2023 equivalent to flying around the earth 7 times. emitting ~ 1200 tons of C02 in the process. That’s 83 times the average American.”

He added a direct Taylor quote, “Jet lag is a choice.”

It was a comment the star made after flying from Tokyo to Las Vegas to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce win the Super Bowl.

Jack, a junior at the University of Central Florida, found himself under intense scrutiny after Taylor Swift, 34, issued a “cease and desist letter” on December 22, accusing him of aiding stalkers.

The letter, which was sent to Jack, emphasized the serious nature of the situation, stating, “While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client.” It highlighted Swift’s longstanding struggle with stalkers and the constant fear for her safety that she has endured since her teenage years.

Further, Swift’s spokesperson pointed out a concerning “connection” between Jack’s dedicated Instagram account for Taylor’s jet and a man who was arrested outside her Manhattan townhouse in January.

Despite the initial action taken by Swift’s legal team to shut down Jack’s Swift Jets Instagram page, Jack has not heard anything from Taylor’s lawyers in the four months since. He doubts he ever will. Additionally, Jack has been unable to restart his Instagram page following its shutdown.

This situation mirrors a similar incident in 2022 when Elon Musk publicly criticized Jack for tracking his jet on his platform X and offered $5,000 for him to cease his activities. However, Jack refused Musk’s offer.

‘INTIMIDATING’

“Nothing [has happened]. I’m not really surprised,” Jack said.

“It’s pretty much like with Elon, you know, they’ll say something to intimidate the smaller person.

“It’s the attention they’re getting that they don’t like.”

“I like it – that it brings awareness,” Jack added.

He says that exposing the amount Taylor used the jet in 2023 – and also having other Instagram accounts dedicated to celebs such as Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian – shouldn’t be seen as a “competition.”

In fact, Taylor does not even make the top 10 when it comes to celebrities’ private jet use – the top three are rapper Travis Scott, Kim K, and Musk himself.

JET GROUNDED?

Jack notes an interesting coincidence regarding Taylor Swift’s private jet usage since the story made headlines in December. He observes that Taylor’s jet has been scarcely used since then, with Taylor opting for charter planes instead, making it more challenging for spotters to track her movements.

He speculates on possible reasons for this change in behavior, suggesting that negative publicity may have played a role in Taylor’s decision to minimize her jet usage. Alternatively, he considers that charter jets might offer certain advantages, such as being nicer, faster, or having greater range.

Looking ahead to Taylor’s European tour, Jack anticipates that it will be relatively easy to identify her charter flights due to the limited number of people traveling from Nashville to Europe on charters. He mentions that others are also monitoring flights, with discussions happening on platforms like Reddit.

In addition to tracking Taylor’s flights, Jack is also working on a video documenting all of Elon Musk’s flights last year, which he plans to post on his platform X. He acknowledges that Musk may not appreciate this attention.

The U.S. Sun reached out to representatives for Taylor Swift for comment, indicating ongoing interest in the matter.
