Citing the negative effect on Pete Davidson – who Instagrammed that he didn’t ‘want to be on this earth’ – the 26-year-old Bodak Yellow rapper explained that she didn’t want Offset to go through the same thing.

‘I’m not saying that I’m going to get back together with him. I just don’t like that bashing online thing.

‘Just earlier, you saw just how Pete Davidson was talking about how he don’t even want to be on this earth because mad people be coming to him every single day.

‘I wouldn’t want my baby father to have that feeling because of millions of people be bashing him every day. That’s a nasty feeling.  I wouldn’t want that.

‘God could give me and bring me the most perfect glamorous and fabulous man.

‘That perfect glamorous fabulous perfect man is not going to love my child the same way her father loves my child. So I don’t like that b******t.

‘Because I know how painful it is when you have millions of people bashing you every single day.

‘I don’t like that and it doesn’t make me feel any better, period.’

Her estranged husband Offset had crashed her Rolling Loud festival show in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, in a bid for the pair to reconcile.

In a video obtained by Uproxx, Cardi looked unimpressed as the 27-year-old Migos star brought out a ‘take me back’ floral banner, while issuing a grovelling apology.

The former Love and Hip Hop star – who shares Kulture, five months, with her estranged husband – was stunned as her crew members brought out the elaborate sign, made out of white and red roses.

Moments later, Bad and Boujee hitmaker Offset made his dramatic entrance, which was met with a mixture of cheers and boos.

Cardi appeared to huff and puff at the rapper’s grand gesture as she pulled back from him when he tried to reach out for her hand.

In his second apology in just two days, the Georgia native began: ‘I just wanna tell you I’m sorry. In person, in front of the world. Whatever I gotta do to show you I love you.’

She announced her separation from her husband earlier this month amid a shocking cheating scandal on his part.

Cardi, who was catapulted into the spotlight following her appearance on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop series, headlined the festival with fellow rappers Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black and Kylie Jenner’s ex Tyga.

Putting on a show-stopping display, the TV personality sizzled in a tasseled red bodysuit and fishnet tights.

Earlier that day, she took to her Instagram story to rave about a bouquet of red roses she received.

‘So pretty,’ Cardi said. ‘I love flowers.’

While she didn’t say who they came from, the stunning flowers came a day after Offset’s Instagram video apology.

If Offset did in fact send those flowers earlier today, his stunt at the Rolling Loud music festival may have done more damage than good.

She also sent out a cryptic message in Spanish on her Instagram story, ‘Pensando en mi pensando en ti,’ which translates to ‘I am thinking of me thinking of you.’

Offset’s grand gesture seems to explain reports that he wants to celebrate their five-month-old offspring’s first Christmas season as a family, according to TMZ.

It was recently reported that Cardi B, real name Belcalis Almanzar, is ‘very torn’ about her future with Offset, days after publicly announcing their separation.

The pair’s split has ‘been really hard’ on both of them, a source told E! on Monday. Offset has been trying to win Cardi back, but an insider said she’s ‘not on board yet’.

Missing you: Following their split, Offset took to Twitter to reveal that he was missing his wife

Cardi B announced the split on Instagram earlier this month, after more than a year of marriage, which lead Offset to send out a tweet on Sunday stating, ‘F*** YALL I MISS CARDI.’

‘They haven’t been spending time together and Cardi expressed she still wants her space,’ said E!’s source. ‘She is very busy right now with her work and is focused solely on Kulture.’

The biggest issue was the rapper can’t trust Offset, due to the cheating scandal that many have speculated caused the split.
