Taylor Swift’s new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” broke a series of records on Spotify and other music apps, according to NBC News on Saturday, April 20.

But that’s not the only record that Swift’s 11th album broke on Spotify in less than 24 hours after its release last Friday.

“Fortnight,” the album’s first single, broke the record for most-streamed song in a single day.

The day before its release, “The Tortured Poets Department” became the most “pre-save” album on Countdown Pages, a Spotify feature that helps users listen to songs before the album is released.

Previously, this 34-year-old music star held the record for most listened to album in one day and most listened to singer in one day when she released the album “Midnights” in October 2022.

“The Tortured Poets Department” also broke the record for streams on the first day of release on Apple Music and Amazon Music
