Selected as the overall first pick in the 2024 WNBA DraftClark is under immense pressure to step up and perform from the get-go to help spur the Fever on to become future WNBA champions, something Clark is desperate for after failing to win the national championships in the NCAA.

In the video posted online, Clark features in a three-woman weave along with Aliyah Boston, another highly rated talent, in the opening day in what is initially thought to be a brief introduction in a relatively slow training camp.

But she already looks comfortable, which is a good sign, and it means that she could potentially translate her talents from the Iowa Hawkeyes to become the Fever‘s go-to point guard.

When does the WNBA season begin?

Clark will be absolutely eager to hit the court for the first game of her professional career after being picked as the best talent in the 2024 class, which also featured Kamilla CardosoCameron Brink and Angel Reese.

In fact, Reese and Clark will even showdown in preseason as the Indiana Fever travel to the Dallas Wings to open the campaign on Friday, May 3, at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
