Katy Perry has taken to social media to complain about her fiancé Orlando Bloom’s brand-new TV series on Peacock.

Orlando Bloom: To The Edge sees the British actor try his luck at terrifying stunts and extreme sports, something American Idol judge Katy clearly isn’t a fan of. The show, launched on Thursday, April 18, hasn’t gone down well with the Roar hitmaker.

Taking to her Instagram page, the 39-year-old slammed her partner’s involvement in the programme, telling him “don’t ever do this again”. The three-part series will see Orlando try skydiving, as well as heading underwater without an air tank, plus rock climbing.

“The person who has been #OnTheEdge this whole time is ME,” Katy said of the show’s series trailer released on social media. “Stream baby daddy @orlandobloom’s show on @peacock now to see why I’m so proud, but don’t ever do this again.”

Fans flocked to support Katy too, with one saying: “I’m so happy for you! You found someone you deserve to have your heart! I can see through your eyes that you are happy and completed.” While another added: “Legolas living on the edge!”

Her criticism of Orlando’s new show comes after he mocked her awkward wardrobe blunder on the most recent instalment of American Idol. Last week, he took to his partner’s Instagram post to mock her look, comparing it to a cooking utensil. Firework singer Katy had posted snaps of her attire to the social media platform and while most were extremely complimentary of the metallic top, Orlando was less so.

“Glad I could bend that frying pan with my bare hands for you baby.” Katy couldn’t help but respond with a witty comment of her own, jokingly hitting back: “@orlandobloom wow good one and I didn’t even write it this time,” she commented. Actor Alexander James Rodriguez couldn’t help but get in on the couple’s banter, commenting: “@orlandobloom hehe let’s hope it’s not bent around your ear later!!”

Her next upload showed the moment the outfit in question failed to keep covered and “broke”. She shared a clip of the dress malfunction, which happened during Roman Collins’ powerful rendition of James Brown’s It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World on American Idol.

Katy laughed off the situation at the time stating: “That song… um… broke my top off… I guess it is a woman’s world!” But her face showed more of a panic in her Instagram upload, as show-runners and even fellow judge Luke Bryan tried to keep her covered. “”I need my top to stay on,” she is heard saying as the staff got to work to try to save her outfit. The star joked: “If it’s not fixed, this show is gonna get more than it wanted.”
