Remember when Angelina Jolie kissed her brother on the Oscars red carpet in 2000? Well now the star’s former childminder has explained it once and for all.

When the pair briefly kissed on the lips at the event, it sparked incest rumours as the world questioned their close relationship.

But Ang’s mum Marcheline’s close friend Cis Rundle, who helped take care of the actress as a child, has opened up about the moment – claiming it was nothing more than sisterly love.

“The day she kissed Jamie at the Oscars, it was the first day Marcheline was treated for cancer. They left the hospital together and got ready together,” she told Radar Online.

“Nobody in the world knew that they spent the day in the hospital. It was like, ‘Look where we’re at now.’ But the world saw something incestual. It was meant to be ‘Here we are.’ They only ever had each other. They had a very tight relationship with each other and their mother.”

Cis, who cared for Angelina for eight years, said she loves the star “unconditionally”, but also reportedly claimed Angelina struggled with self harming as she was growing up.

“She just liked that little bit of pain. She liked that edge,” Cis told the site, adding that she used to dip her finger into wax.

“She was a wild child. I knew she was always going to be a force to be reckoned with.”

Despite Ang being an icon for millions now, she struggled with bullying while she was at school, with Cis claiming it was over her now-famous big lips.

Something we are seriously struggling to get our heads around now.

But Brad Pitt’s new wife had her own issues at the time, reportedly struggling with an eating disorder, and Cis claims she once had to carry her into the hospital as she struggled with the mental illness.
