Adam Levine spoke out after being accused of having an affair while his wife was pregnant

The leader of Maroon 5 denied having an affair, but said he had “crossed the line”.

On the evening of September 20, after being accused of having an affair for nearly a year during his wife’s third pregnancy, Adam Levine officially spoke out on his personal page. He said: “There are a lot of things being said about me right now and I want to clear up those rumors. I was not wise to have flirtatious conversations with anyone other than my wife. I did not commit adultery, however, I crossed the line during an unfortunate period of my life. “My wife and family are all I care about in this world,” he continued. “Foolish and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me. This was the biggest mistake I made. I will never do it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together”, the owner of the hit “Sugar” emphasize.

The model also accused the former coach of The Voice of taking advantage and psychologically manipulating her: “At that time, I was young, I was quite naive and straightforward, I felt taken advantage of. I wasn’t in the same situation as I am now, so I was definitely easily manipulated.” Sumner Stroh said that during the time she and the singer allegedly knew each other, she had the impression that Levine and Prinsloo’s marriage “was over.” However, when she realized things weren’t like that, she “cut everything off” with Adam Levine.

Stroh also apologized to Behati Prinsloo and the couple’s children: “In retrospect, I wish I would have asked more questions, I wish I wasn’t so naive but naivety is not an excuse for what I did and my role in this. Again, I’m not trying to gain sympathy and I fully realize I’m not a victim in this. I’m not the one who’s really hurt here, it’s Behati and her children and for that I’m very sorry.”
