Adam Levine may have gone shirtless for part of the 2019 Super Bowl LIII Pepsi Halftime Show — but it was his tank top that stole the show.

Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Atlanta native Big Boi took the stage during Super Bowl LIII on Sunday, breaking up the low-scoring game between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams — and fans quickly noticed that the brown and black retro pattern on the Maroon 5 frontman’s tank top matched some of their own home decor.

“Wow the highlight of Adam Levine’s performance was definitely that his shirt looked exactly like pillows that an alarming amount of people happen to have from Target,” one tweeter noted.

More people quickly chimed in, sharing their own pillows.

“I too have an Adam Levine pillow,” one person wrote, while another said, “For sale: Adam Levine’s shirt. I made it into a pillow so you can rest your head on it every night.”

During their performance, Maroon 5 played throwbacks from their early albums, such as “Harder to Breathe” and “This Love,” but turned up the volume with pop hits including “Moves Like Jagger.”

Levine, 39, faced criticism when he took the tank top off and performed shirtless during “Moves Like Jagger,” with many fans wondering why he was able to purposely remove his shirt while Janet Jackson was criticized for her infamous wardrobe malfunction during her 2004 Super Bowl set with Justin Timberlake.

Jackson, 52, was “blackballed” after Timberlake went to remove her corset and accidentally tore off her bra too, exposing her bare breast.

Controversy ensued, Timberlake and Jackson issued apologies, and the Federal Communications Commission charged CBS, the network that broadcast the game that year, with a $550,000 indecency fine for the incident, dubbed “Nipplegate.” CBS broadcasted the big game again this year.

This was Maroon 5’s first-ever Super Bowl performance. Last year’s featured Timberlake, while 2017 was Lady Gaga‘s time to shine. Other big names that have taken the stage in recent years include Beyoncé, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz.

“No one thought about it more than I did,” Levine said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight Thursday ahead of the big game. “No one put more thought and love into this than I did.”
