Apparently, Milwaukee Bucks big man Bobby Portis did not feel like his team was at a big enough disadvantage in Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers. Both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard were ruled out for this pivotal matchup, which meant that the rest of the players on the squad needed to step up in a major way.

Portis had other ideas, though.

Portis just spent seven minutes on the floor in Game 4. This was after the feisty big man was ejected from the game due to an ugly altercation with Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard. After reviewing the play in question, the game officials deemed that Portis had committed a hostile act, which prompted an automatic ejection for the veteran:

It goes without saying that Portis getting himself thrown out so early in the game is not going to help Milwaukee’s cause one bit.

Bucks Fans Turn on Bobby Portis

Unsurprisingly, Bucks supporters were not at all pleased by Portis’ antics on Sunday night. They did not hesitate in throwing the 29-year-old under the bus for what they believe is a deplorable ejection that will only make things more difficult for the squad:

 

 

 

 

 

Portis brings an unbridled passion to games whenever he’s on the floor. You can’t really question that about him. However, he does tend to go overboard at times, and this is a perfect example of the same.

You have to take the good with the bad when it comes to Portis, but at the same time, you can’t really blame the fans for getting sick and tired of the bad.
